Is it Harvard Spring? If so I'll give you a bright orange sticker.

Indeed it is! But won't you feel incomplete missing 2 stickers from a bright orange side? If not, I will graciously accept your offer. Also, if you could somehow find me tomorrow rather than the day of the competition, application of the stickers might be a bit easier.

I got a c4u core for my guhong,
and it wont fix, i tried putting in the screw but it doesnt work
any ideas?

Is there any way you can post a picture? Or be a bit more explicit than "fix", it would make it clearer what problem(s) you are experiencing.

Dayan Guhong V2 - How do you pop an edge piece out?

Ok, so I got my first speedcube today - a Guhong V2. I got some lubricant with it as well, but I can't for the love of god pop the edge out! LOL. How do you do that? I don't want to wreck something, but I have tried popping it straight up and tried twisting it. Nothing seems to work... It's actually pretty slow right out of the box. I figure some lube and tension work is needed.

If someone could help me with this that would be most kind!

If twisting an edge doesn't work then you must loosen the side you want to pop edge a bit and it will come out.
Ah! That makes sense. How do I do that? There are caps on the middle pieces which hides the screws, right?

EDIT: Ah, I figured it out. I'll be back with the result.

Assembled and lubed up! It's very smooth.

However, I noticed, when I was lubing the core, it wasn't as fast as shown in this video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4paID_54lQ&feature=related at 10:22.

He however had a DIY cube, and assembled it from scratch, and thus lubed up ALL crucial parts of the core (screws etc). Could that be the difference? I do not want to take it apart again, haha. I can do U2-turns with a little effort, so that should be enough right?

I used that video for my zhanchi and it turned out fantastic, although my core wasn't as fast as his. It doesn't really matter though, in my opinion, because it's improved with time and is a great cube.

I think you must solve a Cube several times to get better results with Lube in core, but on the other hand I think that lubing parts of the core (screws, washers etc.)can make difference in speed of the cube.

I'm wanting to buy a Rubik's magic, can someone advise me on the best brand or should I settle for a regular Rubik's brand,

Thanks in advance!

I personally use a Cubetwist, as it was the only brand available at the store frome which I purchased it, but the strings come out I place on occasion if I twist it sloppily. I'm not sure if this problem is common among all Magics, but I have herd that Ghosthand is a quite good brand as well. I have had no major problems with my Cubetwist brand Magic, however.
