Dont wanna make a new thread, just want opinions.
Do you think that over time, one could sub 10?
Cause 5BLD got sub 10 EXTREMELY fast and it worries me that I keep having these plateaus and maybe ill never be sub 10.
Am i worrying too much? What do you guys think?

I have always thought that some people will never average sub-10, it's something that only few people will achieve. Don't take it personally though, it's just what I think and I'm not saying you're one of them.

Is there any way to avoid A and E perms? I hate these, and I wonder if there is any sort of OLL extension or something that I can do to avoid them.

What was the one of the fastest times (or fastest) time for 3x3 in comp, with a pop? A video would be awesome.

Felik's once said "I think, anybody can sub 10" in an interview. I think he's right, you just have to want it.
I'm trying to be sub 10 within a year of cubing, just like 5BLD, but with CFOP. I'll post it on the Accomplishment Thread, if I get sub 10 by then (nearly sub 15 after half a year). Deadline: in 6 months (start of September 2012)
Who thinks, this is possible?

I really think it is possible.

I have been cubing for 9 months and I average ~18-19 sec. But I am practising and hope to sometimes get sub-10.

If you want to avoid all non-EPLLs then OLLCP (or ZBLS+COLL) is the way to go. If you want to avoid only A perms and E perms, you could look into EP control, but that's very uncommon in CFOP. The best way to avoid bad PLLs is to practice them so they're not bad anymore.

Good luck. You are going to have to progress at about 1 second a month. Actually if you just focus on that, I think you could do it. 15 to 10 is really hard though but good luck. With that in mind, maybe I will try to get down to 10 seconds... a 1 second difference is a lot though. I mean the first month you could just work on TPS and sub steps. Then second month just solve, then third month lookahead and optimizing algorithms, then fourth month solves, then fifth month TPS and lookahead. You could even just do it on a weekly basis. I don't know because it seems to be all good in theory but actually being able to do it will be hard.
