If you want to. Start with your opposite colour (white-yellow) - that would be a good start.

Imo that's not the way to become CN. Then you're just practicing semi-CN, which isn't what we want. I think you should just go cold turkey. It'll definitely be harder, but it sets a better habit.

I average around 20 - 25 seconds with F2l (intuitive) , 2 Look OLL and Full PLL. I usually solve the cross in 4 - 5 seconds. Should I start learning colour neutrality?

The sooner the better.

The above two posts are perfect answers. If you're going to switch it's better that you do it now because it only gets harder the faster you are (IMO)! And I recommend just going with no color bias right from the start, and not following any particular schedule. Just start choosing the best cross right away :D Yes of course your times will be slower at first. Good luck at becoming CN :)

All of the previous posts are correct, go now it's well worth it in the end. I'd recommend you stop timing yourself for a couple of days, and focus on look ahead and starting with the best cross every time. Be sure to remind yourself during your cross what colors you're looking for in your F2L pairs, that is in my opinion the most difficult part in switching to color neutral. Another great thing about being color neutral is if you get bored with CFOP and decide to switch to Roux you'll be ver happy that you're already color neutral. Color neutral Roux is a lot of fun.

For anyone who has a Meffert's megaminx with mf8 tiles, how exactly did you achieve this? Did you take the tiles off of an mf8, and glue them on a Meffert's? Because my Mefferts is great, but I love the mf8 colour scheme. :/

I think I heard somewhere you can buy MF8 tiles separately. I don't know where though.

The best way to start CN is to get familiar with all the F2L pairs of different cross colours (do a couple hundred solves on g/b, and then move on to r/o cross) and THEN only you look for easiest cross. But you must get familiar with the cross colours first. This was qq's post from somewhere a while ago.

I know I can get them from a cubing store in Malaysia, but I don't really want to pay the shipping, and I already have a tiled mf8 and a Meffert's, so I don't really see a point in buying them. Plus, they're out of stock. :/

Nope, they're just on pre-order.

Cube Logos

I was just wondering, since I might be joining some competitions in some time, does a cube really need to have a logo? Because the logo on my Dayan 4x4x4 is fading off and my ShengShou 5x5x5 doesn't even have one.

No, it does not need a logo.

Please show me where you think the regs state that you need to have a logo on the cube.
