Don't use Maru... it's too low viscosity and will just run out quickly- Although a mix of Maru and Diff oil (at least 30 K wt) should do the trick. I would use a 2:1 ratio (Maru : Diff Oil) although its really up to you on how similar it is to the manufacturer's lube.
One or two each day and make sure you can execute through not only muscle memory but also when you are turning slow. I've just finished learning my last PLL doing one per day... Just make sure when you finish learning one alg... go through everything you have learnt previously... Start with a solved cube and with everything but G- perms go back and forth using the alg to get from solved to situation repetitively.
Oh and make sure your algs are good or you're going to regret it later
EDIT Ninja'd....
Listen to 5BLD- he's probably more experienced than I am
With the any a perm you could match the cross unless you know the cross pattern thingy and know you need to switch corners you can look for the head lights and correspond them to the matching corner like
Eg the good corner is on the bottom left and the head lights are at the back you do the CW A perm
and if the good corner is on the bottom left and the headlights are at the left the do the CCW A perm
and im not bothered typing the other stuff...
EDIT : i just saw its MEMORIZING not RECOGNIGTION(cant spell DX)i look for patterns in the alg and then SEE what ill get and like i know theres a repeating pattern in U perm so i can remember that

does anyone know how long (approx) it might take for a cube to get from USA to Australia? i expect the delivery method will be sea mail or whatever is pretty cheap as it is through Puzzle Addictions and he offers free shipping... or even better, does anyone know what courier/postal companies puzzle addictions uses? or at least a decent guess? i haven't ordered anything from USA before :/

do NOT use sea mail unless you love waiting (assuming you don't) use air mail, sea mail I heard takes 2 months + and puzzle addictions uses USPS first class to Australia, I'm from Sydney and it takes about 7 business days (which means it doesn't include weekends) so if I order on Sunday it would come on the next next Tuesday. Hope this helps

COLL has 42 cases with PLLs according to speedsolving wiki, so there are 40 cases for the all edges oriented OLL cases.
Shouldn't it be 6(COLL cases per OLL case)*7(OLL cases)=42 Cases, with PLLs 44?
I am a little bit confused

Say one wanted to paint the colors back onto a cube that had lost it... would it be best to take the stickers off before hand or could i just paint on the stickers?
