Stupid question but would it be legal to take a video of a cuber in a competition, putting it on youtube with ads and getting money on it without the consent of the cuber himself ?
(there is a big discussion about copying a video and making it slow motion in feliks wr thread but I am more curious about what if I had filmed him or someone else... would I be allowed to put the video on youtube even if this person does not want to ?)

This is an interesting and perhaps difficult question. An article on the subject.

I would think one could make the case that solves at a competition are in a public place by definition, and therefore it would be legal to video Feliks doing a solve without permission, and collect whatever you want in revenues from it without any consent. But odds are different judges would see it differently, and decisions might be different in different parts of the world. There's probably not a cut-and-dried answer.

On the other hand, if you're just copying a video that someone else took (such as fazdad's), that's probably illegal most places.

I'm sure it's not illegal... but it's not really ethical to profit from someone else like that, and I'm sure it wouldn't make you any friends in this community.

What are the top 5 best alg subsets to learn after full OLL and PLL?

1. ZBLL
2. ZBF2L
3. Winter Variation
4. KLL
5. CPLS

Just no.
Assuming you're doing 'CFOP' with extensions, I'd say:
1 Multislotting madness+Jeff2L
2 COLL
3 CLL
4 ELL
5 CLS
6 ZBLS
Don't learn CPLS unless you plan to frequently use it.

Instead of having algs for all the EG-2 cases, you do the opposite or "anti" CLL case (so that the U-layer turn into a Y-perm), and cancel it into R2 F2 R2 or similar.

My question: any tips for being colour neutral for 4x4 centers?

Solve whichever center you prefer, then solve the opposite one. Solve the white/ yellow and then solve one of the remaining centers, then finish the last tow
so if you start with orange, solve that, then the red, then white/yellow, then green/blue (make sure to put it in the correct place) then the last two.

several questions but closely related:
- how much time did it take you to learn pll recognition only with two faces ?
- was it a passive skill you got after a lot of practice or did you have to focus on this to learn it ?
- what was your average at that time ?
(I am using cfop, 15s cross+f2l and 8s ll, I know full oll and pll but waste a lot of time in recognition)

You don't need to recognize PLL with only 2 faces to be fast at it.
