To be honest I've never used it (can't get jigaloo in the UK), but in theory it should be fine... it's just people prefer lubix and maru at the moment (but 5 months ago everyone loved Jigaloo and CRC)

I use Jig-A-Loo in my GuHong. It works well. I can't compare it to anything other than the 3-in-1 stuff which sucks.

Question: Are these algs for 5x5 good, or is there a site with better?

How to begin doing finger tricks?
My left hand sucks a LOT and the only finger trick that I do is the sexy move.
I don't even know where to begin!

First of all make sure your cube is well lubed and tensioned and its a good cube with decent corner cutting.Watch videos of fast cubers and learn some basic fingertricks

Practice (R U R' x *4) , (R' F R F' * 4) ,(r U r' u' x *4),T perms,U perms and J perms

Nobody anwered my question, so I'm gonna ask again 'cause I'm a little desperate: how to practice finger tricks?
How's the best way to practice it?
I'm into cubbing since August of last year and can't be faster at the 3x3x3 (1:00~1:30), 4x4x4 (maybe 7 minutes?) and 5x5x5 (10~12 minutes).
One "problem" is that I'm already an adult, so... I can't practice more than 2 hours a day... hehe.
Any tips?
Learn Friedrich?
Or maybe get faster at cross? But how?

Not sure if you really want these, but I made a list of algs for 5x5 L2E a looong time ago. The are for the UF and UB edges, the case wording is a little strange but it makes sense after a while (I think it's SiGN notation). The moves only turn the top layer as well as layers across the x axis (but not including L).

If you are solving 3x3 by LBL for over 6 months I'd definitely recommend looking at F2L. You would be surprised how easy it is to get to grips with it. Just watch the videos on http://badmephisto.com/f2l.php on intuitive F2L and that should set you on your way. You don't mention whether you are 2 look PLL/OLL etc so difficult to advise there. As mentioned get a good cube and just search forums or YouTube for finger trick videos.

Don't let being an adult put you off. I've started cubing in my 40s (after 30 years remission!) and I gain a lot of inspiration from some of the mature cubers here :)

Thanks for the advices!
Maybe intuitive F2L would be a really nice "second step"! I'll look into it!
I'm 26... and seeing some boys saying "I can solve it within 30 seconds, and it's only a month's practice" just send chivers down my spine, haha!

Looking into Fridrich or another advanced method is definitely a good idea. Badmephisto is good for F2L and I've heard good things about RiDo's F2L guides. Badmephisto has some pretty bad LL algs though so always check the wikis and search YouTube.

I'm debating on whether or not I should buy a regular guhong from cubedepot/speedcube shop or buying an Ultimate guhong from lubix. To cubers who own one, what are some of the differences you found in an ultimate vs. a regular lubed guhong? And is it worth the 20 or so dollars vs. the 13 or so dollars for a regular guhong.

And before someone posts it, I have already watched Camcuber's video. I'm just looking for more opinions.

What's the simplest algorithm to solve the first one into the second one?

I actually came upon this algorithim on my own randomly while I was solving it for the first time. I will post a youtube video on how to do this and then edit this one to give you the link. Thank you for today's youtube video topic!!!

@Andreaillest

Get the ultimate guhong. They are Definitely, without a doubt, worth the extra 7 dollars. They are much faster, a lot less locky, and just overall better. Ive been using my ultimate for about 2 months, and after I lost it, using a dayan was a huge downgrade. I am not at all saying they are bad, its just that ultimates are way better.

Well I have both of the but my main is the regular guhong lubed with lubix.

I had a Rubiks brand. So the First main speedcube one I ordered was a regular guhong,it came unlubed of course and it had great corner cutting,I have to say I had play around with the tensions a LOT to make it just perfect for me,i had to break it in as well,I didn't have any lube for it so I kept practicing on an unlubed guhong and it just got tooo good after a lot of solves.

But,I wanted to try lubix guhong(a lubed cube to be more specific) as well after seeing so many great reviews about it on this site,so I ordered that and Lubix with it for my regular guhong

but by the time it came,i got used to the regular guhong a lot.Thats the reason i couldn't devote time to my lubix guhong to make it better, yes I did try to adjust the tensions but it came nowhere near my regular lubed with lubix.i don't like the feel of it compared to my regular guhong.
I use it for multiBld only.

anyway I would say that regular lubed with lubix and 48 pin mod is the PERFECT thing.
lubix guhong....umm well Faz uses it,so I think go for lubix guhong
