Well is there at least a set of algorithms for all the edge flipping cases? Instead of going through all those phases?

More often than not, the cases are optimally solved by going through the phases, and after you do a couple hundred solves, almost all of the orientation cases will become automatic. If there are any you are having trouble with, let us know.

Check the Roux thread though. At one point, someone posted the alg for every EO case, I believe.

Are there any good tutorials for 7x7 last two centers and last four edges? Right now I'm intuitively permuting as many center cubies I can and then using the commutator in lancetheblueknight's tutorial. For the last four edges I do the inner edges first and solve parity if I have it then I do the outer edges and apply parity if I have to.

Edit: Also, any mods to improve anything would be welcome. The only one that I know about is the adjustable core mod.

Check out esquimalt1's videos, he has one for each, they really help

You can check out Waffle's roux tutorial in the guides section, but you don't need algs, it's all intuitive.
Yes.

I don't know about optimal for all of them but I do agree for the most part.
You basically need to get good at the M' U(') M' trigger... then for some cases you can cancel some moves instead of M' U M' M2 you can do a M' U M
Also you can look ahead to the Opposite layers and manipulate the Edges.
