Make sure you have broken in your Dayan first. Dust builds up very quickly at first and it takes about a week of breaking in. After that's done clean it out very carefully and then lube the way Eric suggested. My Dayan doesn't have Maru lube but the core does have Lubix and it's pretty decent with just that.

He shouldnt need to break it in, I did probably 5 solves on my Dayan, and didn't touch it again until Evan Liu told me to put maru lube in my outer layers, I did that (conveniently right after 4x4 round ended...) and intantly the outer layers turned amazing. No breaking in is required for the Dayan

can i have a comparison of the FII and FI?

Very similar cubes. The F2 seems to be slightly harder and needs to be cleaned of dust and and be re-lubed less often, also locks up a bit less.

In my opinion: Lightake Fake F2 < GhostHand 2 < Type F < GhostHand < FII, with probably Type B at the start of that sequence but I've never touched one.

Hey! I have a question.
I've been using CubeTimer.com to time my solves, but I have one problem.
After I'm done doing a few solves, as soon as I leave the page and then refresh it again, my solves are gone, and my settings (sounds, inspection time, etc.) are erased. Is this a bug? I'm using Google Chrome, but I've tried it with FireFox too, and it does the same thing. Is anyone else having this problem?

Cubetimer does have that one drawback. However you can use qqtimer which has better features and settings. http://www.speedsolving.com/timer/qqtimer.htm

Will the Food Grade CRC silicone work instead of the Heavy Duty CRC? I've look all over the place and can't find the CRC Heavy Duty.

It's like they are phasing it out. None of the Walmarts or the automotive places around here carry it anymore. I'm going to have to order some online. I tried some other silicone spray and it made the movement feel gummy.

Yea I think so too. I've checked five home improvemet type shops and none have had it. It's on amazon and eBay but I really didn't want to have to order online though.

Fake F2? Where can I find the real one?
