Anybody have an alg for 5x5 last three edges where you have all three in parity state? (wings are flipped on all)
I know one where its just for the two of them...i lol'd when i got a three...never seen that yet

So are there the same amount of OLLs as 3x3x3, right? I assume so, but just want to confirm.

Also, how do you recognize OLLs, because they look different on 4x4x4?

There is one thing that can happen on a 4x4 that cannot on a 3x3: parity. If you have solved the entire first three layers, and you have an odd number of edge pairs oriented correctly on the last layer, you have parity, and a special algorithm must be used to flip one of the edge pairs (well, technically, swap the two individual pieces that make up that edge pair), so that you get an even number of edge pairs correctly oriented. Once you have an even number, then it is one of the same 57 OLL cases on a 3x3, assuming you treat each edge pair as a single piece.
Sorry, should have mentioned that in my above post

Yes...they are the same...its LITERALLY LIKE SOLVING A 3X3. ExAcTlY ThE SAmE~

Recognizing PLL and OLLs take a bit of practice, having 2 pieces per edge screwed me up for a bit. Just practice and you'll recognize faster. However...judging by your questions Im going to assume you don't know OLL parity. If you only have one correctly oriented edge (aka you are on OLL and if yellow is your LL color then you only have one yellow or 3 yelllow edges facing upwards) then you have OLL parity and must perform that alg. Let me know if you need them. You can either learn my pure flip alg, or the standard one which is fine but when you need to do a pure 2flip its very handy to learn my pure flip. Its sub 3'able)
