I want to try Rubik's Cube art, but is there some kind of program that generates the photo with all the individual pixelated colors?
The only one I know of, is by RedKB on youtube. He has a video demonstrating it. I am not sure if it is available to the public but you can contact him and ask for a copy.
here He says he is still working on fixing the bugs, but it should be released publicly eventually.
Also, If you have photoshop, there is a feature, don't remember what it is called, that allows you to set what colors are available to use. It could be used for this purpose, tho not sure. I remember it back from computer class.

FIX: I want to lubricate my cube which I bought from gamesworld, it's fairly bad. I not allowed to buy silicone spray, my brother says I am only going to use a little bit and it costs like $5 (I'm 11), so is it ok to use vaseline as a lubricant if i don't put on too much? (I know petroleum slowly breaks down the cube, that's why I am asking) If yes how much do I put on? If no, what other household item can I use? Please pm me
100% ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE VASELINE!!! Get the silicone spray, you may only use a little bit, but you have to do it every few weeks. Off the top of my head I can't think of a single every day household item that can be used to lube a cube. I actually used gel solid deodorant back when I first started cubing, It worked pretty well and it made my cube smell good.

D I used the non dry axe kind, where the deodorant is like colored and clear, not the white.
Save up and get some CRC heavy duty silicone. or you can always get a small bottle of jigaloo in the orange can. I got mine for a dollar. Hardware stores are likely to have it.
