That can't be the only difference. When the GuHong 1st came out the white was an off white and they replaced it with porcelain after a while.
The price difference $2.70. The screws appear to be different but if anyone actually know the difference could they please reply here?

On the zeroing issue

"Wow I just got 3 new pb's in an average of 5 with this. This is awsome."
"I just dropped my average by 3 seconds by switching to Zeroing"

They're on the 1st page. The entire thread appears to be bogus which is why it was closed.

"I'm afraid of the effect that 'the absolute' could have on our cubing community as a whole if this thread is allowed to continue. Pending the investigation into forum user 'yangyoude', this thread will be closed for the safety and security of all forum posters"

I asked waffle about it, and he told me it was real and attempted to explain it to me, but it went through and through. lol.
It could be a joke, but its whatever.

Is it possible to use actual HTML in thread posts, not the HTML HTML thing around your code, but like <iframes> tags

<_<. Message boards prevent HTML from showing up due to its' settings.
You have to make use of
HTML:
which you can easily see straight away in the advanced post screen.

i know about the advanced screen HTML tags, but when i previewed the post, it still had code and did not know if it was possible to get it to work, so I asked, and I guess its not. oh well. I wanted to add the petition counter to the petition thread.

For a while I have not had to relog in to SS when I close the tab or window and come back, over a month. But I just recently cleared all my stuff, and now I have to login everytime I come back, which was how it was when I first started coming to SS. Does anyone know how to get it to keep me logged in?

When you are typing in your login details, there is a checkbox that gives you the option of staying signed in. It's approximately a centimeter away from the login button. Not hard to find. I don't feel like logging out to see the exact location.

And sometimes iframes are not allowed on sites for security reasons, though that gets into a whole different subject.

Ive tried the check box before, and Ill try it again. Thanks

Is this an optimal solve.

Scramble: F' B2 L2 B2 F' U L2 D R2 B2 L U R F' L2 B2 R U' D L D2 R' L2 F U'
White=top red=front
Cross=B’ R’ B’ D’ F’ L2 U L x2 y (I know my cross is horrible.)
1ST=R U R’ U R U R’
2ND=d U2 L U L’ R U R’
3RD=U2 L U L’ U2 L U L’ U’L U’ L’
4TH= F’ L F L’
OLL(44)= U’ F U R U’ R’ F’
PLL(Y)= U (F R U’ R’ U’ R U R’ F’ R U R’ U’ R’ F R F’) U’(auf)
Move count = 65, is that average for a speed solve?
Please let me know if this solve uses zeroing, and add where it occurs and when phasing occurs.
I still don’t quite understand phasing or zeroing so I did this solve based on what I think it is.

This is entirely based on if zeroing is not a joke.

When I get to PLL, if I have, say, a Y perm, should I figure out what my AUF will be before or after I execute the PLL?

I find AUFs faster than cube rotations, and some of my PLLs have either U U' or U2 at the end, and I know that those are AUFs, so sometimes I know if they are needed or not depending on the AUFs done pre-PLL.

Does that make any sense? lol

example Z perm
l U' R' U D R' U' D R' U R D2 F
Before I PLL if I AUF U' i need F2 at the end instead
But if I AUF U, I need no AUF at the end

@Julian - Yes. Try to figure out the AUF before or during the PLL. ofc after works too but you're wasting time on the last move lol.

@Havo - he's not talking about auf vs rotations.

That is not near optimal. Optimal solves are 20 or fewer moves. 65 moves is maybe slightly above average for a speedsolve, but you used the 17 move yperm, adding a few moves HTM. That solve doesn't appear to use "zeroing" (fake) or phasing (real.) It seems to just be a CFOP solve. Btw, your OLL was pure orientation. Permutation was solved. F U R U' R' F' is a y perm, so your PLL was Y. Zeroing is a joke, if you actually read the thread you should know this.

Could you please explain that part. I would appreciate it.
And I meant optimal for speedcubing, sorry about the confusion.
Like in the solve, besides the cross, is there any thing that could have been done better.
During the 3rd F2L pair, I added a few moves to make the next F2l ready for insertion.

and I am starting to believe that zeroing is a joke.

Thanks Rpotts.
Yeah the issue was whether I should waste the time figuring out my AUF before, or just jumping right into the pll, figuring out the auf out after. thanks again.
@Havo 2 things: nice z-perm :) i use it, too. also, i wouldnt worry about the poll. i dont think itll help the petition (which i signed fifth). I'd recommend just spreading the link to other speedcubing forums, and maybe getting mm&p or somebody to tell their subscribers about it.
