Why does my cube feel sticky after I lubed it with silicone? I've been working it in for a few days but nothing seems to work

It could be numerous reasons...

A. The silicone you used was petroleum based and it made your cube sticky.
B. You applied to much and you cube got sticky.
C. You didn't break it in enough IMMEDIATELY after lubricating it.

I do highly recommend checking the ingredients in your silicone can and making sure that it isn't petroleum based as this is the most likely reason why your cube is sticky.

yes but not too loose
just enough for easy turning
if you make it too loose you will over shoot turns and have to fix it

and from my experience

older cubes work way better
since they have had plenty of breaking in time

i actually modded an old rubiks brand i had and it is amazing lol

drilled holes in some areas and added bumps to others so that when turning they catch and dont over turn

works better than i expected

this might sound weird but is it possbile to have a f2l skip?I know anything is possible but if that has ever happened with anyone :D
