Guojia 3x3
Shengshou 3x3
Maru 3x3
Haiyan 3x3.
Cube twist 3x3
Some please give me info about those cubes and if they are good for speedcubing

I'm not really well versed with the Maru and Cube Twist 3x3, but if you want REALLY good speed cubes, I suggest you consider:

The GuHong is currently the best according to everyone, followed by the F - II and A - V. Both of these are on par but vary depending on your preference of feel. The LingYun is good as well, considering it is an upgrade to the GuHong, but I listed it after the F - II and A - V because it apparently has some popping issues. The Sheng Shou or the Ghost Hand - II is listed last as though it is a decent speed cube, it does lock up quite a bit (compared to the others). However, if you need a cheap cube, this one is it. at $5.01, its one of the cheapest speedcubes you can get.

All the links I posted were from LighTake. They have free shipping! <3

Well....I'm sure not EVERYONE.
I use a Maru DIY for my main, and I have to say, I like it more than the Alpha V. It's less forgiving, but it makes up for it with speed and corner cutting, as well as stability.

Additionally, locking is really a characteristic of the cuber more than it is the cube.

Yesterday a random kid snapped a string on my magic, so now it only has 7(?) strings. Is this competition legal and is it good for me? I'm afraid of popping it now.

Just to inform you, a magic usually has 16 strings, not 8. So that gives you 15 strings, unless you really had previously had 8 strings broken, your magic should still function, but you are more likely to have a string come off and have to restring it.
