Is there any software which can let me find algorithms for the first step of some 2x2 methods? For instance, for first step of otega or guimond.

How can i regconize the Na and Nb perm, they are so identical to me :fp Thanks in advance :D

which ever the front edge piece needs to go, do the alg on the opposite side.

for ex.
(placed in the front)
if the front edge piece needs to go to the left edge side, you do the alg on the right side. (or do the inverse of the left sided one)
and vice versa.

hope this helps.

How long does it take to break in a mini qj 4x4? I have one, just starting to really get into 4x4, i'm impatient, and I don't like its corner cutting.
This is what I needed to bump. :fp

Not very long, I think it took me around 15-30 solves.
Before you know it, your mini qj will be loose like hell :D

Oh it's loose, and mind you all I do love how it glides like no other, BUT.
I need it to cut more.

And I really don't want to have to squircle mod it.
But that's probably what i'm going to do :p
how much does it cut?

a little under 1/2 piece

There's this thing. It's called accurate turning. Learn it. kthxbai

How do most people do the M-layer? My GHII requires me to do r and R'. Does it need more lube so I can do it with one finger?

I just got the V-Cube 5, 6 and 7 and they are all really stiff. Ive been playing with my 5x5 a lot and it still hasn't seem to get any better. Anyway to break these in?

Just keep solving. The 5x5 will get pretty loose, don't worry about that. The V6 is kinda a lost cause... I still haven't done the pin mod on mine so it's terrible even after extensive breaking in. The 7x7 will loosen a bit too. Just keep scrambling and solving.

Solve the 5x5 and 7x7 a lot more.

Once the 5x5 is broken in well, clean out the old lube and relube it with silicone.

Also, you could try the mod where you sand down those bumps on the corners, but I've never done that to my V-cube and it's pretty good anyway.

As for the 7x7, just break it in.

For the 6x6, break it in a lot, and then you could consider Pi modding it.
