When you build your cross is u2 better than D2?

If I see a pair to work with I'll do a D2 to leave it in place. If I don't see anything I do a u2.

I know this isn't the answer you're looking for, but practice. You JUST started with a new method, there is absolutely no substitute for practice.

Try getting a better cube. If you use eastsheen you'll see a major difference when you switch to ghost hand, lan lan, even DS. They have springs.

At 9 seconds average the cube has little to do with it. Remember that Rowe set the WR with an Eastsheen. If you only started using Ortega yesterday, then just keep practicing.

If you shave down the inner edges on a V6 do you need the pins?
or will it come out of alignment too much?
