50 a week is pretty heavy, unless you're willing to put in monumental effort, it's going to be tough.
I would advise against it.
(Trust me, I know all about algorithm memorization. )

One week!!! Too fast man! Try to learn and memo one day. It's easier. It's not worth to learn over a week, it's only going to improve your times by two seconds or somewhere around that.
Unless you're sub-10 without tell us...

Its ok i wouldnt recommend it though. Only if you're really good at remembering algs would i learn OLL that way. If you're really keen to learn it id suggest pushing it to 2 weeks but learning 1-2 a day is a good way to go.

thank you. I already know about 10 of it. I will go for 3 alg a day. I will start from next week. it will take me about 16 days.
I have nothing to do at that time so I will completely master them.

anyway, if I use a Y perm for my last corner in 4bld, the U centre will be rotated. How do I fix that?

I just solve centers first, edges then corners, so it won't be messed up. Or am I not getting what you're asking?

Yea, you got it. But I can't possibly retain my corner memo for that long so I solve corners first like I do in 3x3 bld

You can do a U (or U', depending on how you perform the Y-perm) as a setup for th whole centers solve. At worst you will forget to fix that setup at the end and get a +2.

Err..but the U/U' would mess with the location of the edges as well? I do corners > centres > edges. Anyway, yea I figured out to use U/U' setups as well, I just have to remember to undo it :rolleyes:

And for the guy who's asking if it's ok to learn 50 OLLs in a week, I think it's a perfectly fine suggestion. I learnt CLL in 3 days. I think it's better to get all the algs and then practise to improve recognition and execution. Sure, you'll forget an alg sometimes but it's just at the beginning stage. I say if you can memo all OLLs in a week then do it

which magic is the best to buy? i know theres storeboughts ghost hands and lingao's. what one is the best? and are there better ones than what i listed? also im wondering if you can lube a magic? i heard you can from someone on youtube but i dont believe it.

I would recommend the ghost hand brand magic.
I prefer it over the Rubik's brand.

No.. I did it like subsets. On qqtimer it had a possibility to do last slot + last layer. Only last layer wouldn't show so much because your lookahead on the OLL is much better.

F2L was cross + 4 pairs. And ofcourse F2L = first two layers, not cross and 3 pairs

I mean I memorized all but just so that on that night with much time spent on recog. I could exec. almost all but briefly I started messing those up and and finally I could use only 5-10 OLLs of those that I learnt that night.

Today I decided to clean out my f-ii for the first time (I bought it a long time ago, back when it was first released).
Then I lubed it with jigaloo (disassemble, sprayed all the pieces, let it dry), and now it feels really crappy. Its a lot slower now, and just feels kinda horrible.
Should I wash the lube out and just use it without any?

You shouldn't disassemble when lubing with Jig-a-loo. It can damage the plastic if you don't work it in right afterward.

It will feel slower than it did with the lube it came with, but give it some time and I guarantee you will like it a lot more than how it was before. I thought I'd ruined mine at first as well.

Honestly, they're all the same after you use them a bit. You can't lube a magic and.

If you just break them in, they'll be fast enough.

Well actually memorize was the wrong word for that what I did. I tried to memorize. But when you have 12 hours nothing much to do then it IS possible. But to remember them all after a good sleep is hard

I didn't even clean out my F-II before lubing it. Jig-a-loo made it feel amazingly fast. Not sure what happened there...

I glued mine pretty much as soon as I got it. I've heard that caps from Ghosthand cubes work perfectly, but if you don't have any, or don't want to have a capless GH, I'm not sure. I'll look into it.
