This might sound pretty ridiculous, but I'm pretty new to the forums so I just wanted to know..
When someone quotes your post (or not) and then posts "+1" what does it mean?

It means that they agree with the quote. Or you can post +2 :p

my question: what does OP mean?

How good is human thistlethwaite for FMC? It's fun on it's own as being an interesting computer style method, though.

With an average of > 45 moves? Probably not very.

Any approach with distinct phases which can't be blended is generally bad. That isn't to say you couldn't blend the sub-steps of HT to get a more efficient solution.

I would have to agree with Conrad. The whole point of Human Thistlethewaite is to break the cube into small, managable portions. Human by as is wouldn't be good for FMC, but a more streamlined approach, blending steps could be decent.

Which method is the guy in this video using?
He solved it in only 29 moves

Possibly cheaters method, but I find it unlikely. I think he used petrus or something or the like on the back side. Don't burn me to death if I'm wrong, though.

I just got my maru 4x4 today, and I think the lube looks really funny. What is it exactly? It seems to be milk in a very small bottle. Also, how much would I put in there, and should I just pour it in an edge piece pair's empty slot and just break it in?
