3l1) Colourless logos (max. 1 logo per colour) that are engraved are not considered as logos.

Does that mean if I have an engraved logo with color it can be a logo?

Better question. Where can one find a GOOD, UNDERSTANDABLE human Thistlewaite (sp?) method tutorial?

So is this a WCA legal logo? I engraved and then filled with black ink.

whats it like brand new?i think i'm going to get QJ:P

It is absolutely horrible. Especially the tips. Mine felt like it was super glued >.<

Nope.
I got one from magic-puzzle-cube.com
After you lube it, it turns nice. The tips should be stiff, so they won't slip into a +2.

From my experience, they are still crap. Why would you say nope, when that's my experience. I have two Pyraminxes, and (IMO) the QJ out of the box is crap. That is what he was asking. Not after you lube it.

Edit: ThatGuy: no, that's not competition legal if the logo is engraved.

I'm sub 2 BLD, using Turbo edges and old Pochmann for the corners and am wondering if switching to Turbo corners would be worth it at my current speed.

Probably obviously so, but BH would be more of a challenge, and even better for your times. And also, do you find M2 edges slower for you? It seems like the general consensus these days is the M2/BH edges/corners combo, or 3OP/BH.

IMO you're better off switching to BH or freestyle corners, though learning some TuRBo algs might be useful. I'm no pro at both of them, but if you want some starting out advice, feel free to give me a PM.

Thanks for the advice.

My apologizes.
By Nope, I meant that I disagree that the tips aren't really especially horrible. The way they're stiff help, so they won't like and land into an unsolved position. That is just from my POV. However, I do respect your opinion on it.
