does anyone use different alg for big cube PLL than what they use on 3x3 PLL? like J(b) i use reflection of J(a) for 3x3 but often misalign when i do on big cube. any advice on keep align better algorithm?

Well, it's probably because they have totally different designs. Well to my knowledge, no.

11 half turns is the longest. Most of them are around 9 though. I would say 15 would be good?

slow: 4-5 mins
medium: 2-4 mins
fast: sub 2
really fast: sub 1
robot: sub 40
