Is there any cube that uses the ZZ method as their main method and has hit sub-15? sub-10?

:P

sorry I have no clue, but just thought to point out the funny typo

Not to mention that 'their' refers to plural, and he is asking of a solitary cuber's method. He should have said 'his/her'

Grammer natziing at it's finest

As for the question, I think the ZB method is more explored, and that the ZZ method hasn't been properly exercised. So sad. Maybe in the future we will all be using it.

Hmmm, I don't think you're right.
I believe that more people use forms of ZZ than ZB.

By my definition, ZB is when you solve LL in one step everytime after getting the edge oriented during the last slot of F2L.

and ZZ is preorientation of edges, and the last layer can be solved in multiple steps, from 2 looks (ZZ-C?) to 1.5 looks (ZZ-B) to one look (ZZ-A).

I'm pretty sure that there's only one person who uses ZB, and more people who can use ZZ.

Again, these are my standards.
I don't know about other people.

anyone want to race to full CLL on 2x2? kinda random i know, or i guess someone could race me to sub-5 avg50

I'll try but I'm terrible at learning algs and recognition.

btw you don't need CLL to sub-5 avg50, Ortega is more than enough.

ive been using a type a1 for a long time now because its my only good cube, but i get a ton of lock ups. should i get a new cube (im probably going to anyway) or should i practice turning accuracy

get an F-II and work on turning accuracy too. turning accuracy is always good to have.

Get a Haiyan Memory when the new mold comes out instead of the Alpha 5.

I looking to buy a timer and I figure the best timer to get would be the official timers they use in competition. Are these the "best" timers? It would be quite nice to rig them up to my computer so I can record my times through an online program, is that possible with this timer?

A link to one of these on popbuying would really just be the icing at this point.

EDIT: Found it. Wowza, that is quite pricey! Is it worth it?
