Do Type F II's usually have to be tightened?

I ask becuase I just opened up the box and it is really loose and pops a lot. Maybe I'm just used to a tighter cube?

I'm pretty sure that most F-IIs come out of the box with a good tension (mine is loose but never pops) but if your F-II is popping, you should definitely tighten it.

how do people do 2x2 BLD so fast?? (1-Look CLL?) and I saw some people that use Ortega for 2x2 BLD, how do you do it? I average around 4.1 but I can't seem to track the orientation and permutation of pieces together..

I used to use Ortega for bld, basically, I find the easiest layer (cn). I only have success if I can have a relatively short fl. I memorise what permutation that layer is going to be, then just perform the layer while tracking the ll cubies. However, I twist the ll corners usually with R' D' R D x2 or 4, so the permutation is untouched. Then just use pbl.

Oh okay thanks. That sounds a lot easier than I thought :) I'll try that soon

Why does it say "Most users ever online was 280, 01-02-2010 11:48 AM at 11:48 AM." in the forum? Does 11:48 AM really have to be there twice?

is the furtherest position on the 2x2 the Y perm? it takes exactly 11 moves
