This sound like the winter variation to me (but I may be wrong), and I believe its 27 cases excluding mirrors and such.

Actually, no its not, but it's close. For my method, by the time you already come to this step, you have all edges oriented. Plus, the f2l pair in the U-face has an extra solved corner, so it's a 1x1x3 block. The final thing that differs is that I also wanted the corners permuted. But thanks anyway, I never really read up on WV until now.

To clarify, an example case of the mentioned D2 R2 B2 U' B2 D2 L2 F2 L2 B2 D' R2 U2 F2 U' L' B2 R D2 U2 R scramble. The algorithm for this is U2 R' F2 R' B2 L F2 L' B2 R U2 R, since it has kept the edges oriented, while solving all the corners.

Thats what I'm having trouble with, is there any different way to do it than my just popping out an edge like you would on a 3x3x3?

Actually I do it a different way. First I turn the U layer about 20° then I turn the R layer about 35° while holding back the U layer. Then I can just stick my thumb into the gap made at uRF & the edge will almost fall out.
 
are you supposed to recive an email from popbuying about your order (shipping, tracking number, proccesing) my order was around $50 and ordered a week and a half ago and i have gotten no inforation?

If you have your order number you can check the status on the website. But I think you get an email when it is shipped.
