first, then second

I've disassembled it and reassembled it for 3 times now. At first everything works fine. After a few turns. Some layers won't turn anymore. What is wrong with my cube? I've done the pin mod if it helps.

Edit: it's a 6x6

When you turn inner layers you have to make sure to hear a firm *click*. Then the other layers will turn.

What is more difficult to learn?

Full OLL and Full PLL
or
Full CLL for 2x2

I ask because I know full oll/pll, but cll seems a little harder to learn or recognize cases as they come up.

OLL/PLL was harder for me most likely because it was the first set of algs that I learned. CLL is tricky, but once you get the hang of it, it's a lot easier to learn because that algs are shorter. Just don't stall like me because then you loose that motivation.

Is it possible to change color scheme in Kubrick? I find it a very good piece of software, except that it has Japanese color scheme and I can't find where this can be changed.

Are there any rules on how your hands should be placed on a stackmat or how they are placed relative to the cube? I ask because it seems like you would get faster times if you put your palms on the stackmat, because your fingers would be closer or right next to the cube. I never see anyone doing this though ...

What stickers/tiles from Cubesmith fit the Mefferts 4x4?

The Mefferts 4x4 is the same size as the Rubik's and QJ 4x4. That means that the 4x4 stickers and tiles will fit well. You have to take those tiles off first.

For future reference: it shows the measurements at the top of the page on cubesmith.

WCA Regulation A4b) The competitor must place his hands flat on the elevated sensor area of the Stackmat, with his fingers touching the sensors and with palms down. Penalty: 2 seconds.

Question for a school assignment;

What was the first competition in which the 3x3 speed round was won by someone using Fridrich?
