The One-Answer Question Thread [closed]

[Cyrus C.]

Hi, I was wondering why not many competitions are held near Florida. All I'm hearing is up north in the IVY colleges (harvard, etc). Thanks

Because everyone in Florida is to lazy to get one started.

yep

Yeah. loosen the screws.xD
Is CCT a good timer? I have had no glitches with it.

I don't mean like just in Florida, but in life the SE section of the US. I know there are A LOT in Chicago, California, and the NE sections. But, oh well, maybe Gators are lazy.

You could try to organize one...

It is a good timer. The only glitch it has is that it occasionally crashes. When I go to the options, sometimes it freezes up. Otherwise, no other glitches.

How do I get Acube to work? I downloaded the .zip file, and tried to open it, and I just got an error....instructions anyone?

There have been 3 since 2006. I don't think of that as a lot. Perhaps you meant to say Minnesota.

Lol.

If I can save up some cash, I can get a pretty good venue in late 2010 or early 2011.

Most likely 2011.
If anyone is familiar with Georgia Tech, I can get one of the facilities for a decent cost.

No promises though.

How long does it take to fully unsticker, remove remaining adhesive, and then resticker a 7x7?

What causes clickyness on the inner most layers on a V cube 7?

MYQUESTION:
What are the +2 and DNF rules for clock?

I've been wondering about this too. As far as I can tell. DNF is when it isn't solved, and there is no plus 2. Someone correct me on this?

Anyone...?

EDIT: What a rubbish 400th post

If I had the money and the recourses, there would be a comp every few months...

Now that's not the spirit. In Estonia there were no comps. But I came to that idea and finally the first Estonian Open was held and the money came from sponsors.. and what resources do you need?

And Estonia isn't very much of a cubing coutry so far.. Although we have a few cubers.. still only few.

Please keep the questions related to cubing. If you are having trouble with an unrelated site, seek help there, not here.

I'm pretty sure there is no way to seek help there, which is why he came here. I am sure someone here knows how...
