Is this any good? I'm thinking of getting another 5x5, as my current v-5 is getting a bit loose for my liking. I think that one is modelled off the v-cube, but it has adjustable screws afaik. I'm not looking for the best 5x5, just something that can make a good speedcube.

It is good.
The cubies feel very crisp.

Though, not as good as a V-Cube, it's good for practice because of the core.

V cube cubies also fit weird with the core sort of.
They fit they do indeed fit though.

The caps have little pegs in them, so you can't put caps from v cube onto them very well. (They come off easily.)

So does it maek v-5 nice? How about using adjstable core (core and screws) with v-5 centres caps and springs wit cubies?

That sounds very nice actually.

Oh except um.
The core of the YJ is different from Vcube.
The centers don't extend as far into the cube as the Vcube does.

I think it would work with a little modding though.
Or maybe even no modding at all.
I don't feeling like disassembling my cube right now, too sleepy.

@Richardzhang, only if you don't really care about spending more money for a better cube.
If you just want a decent cube for good times, YJ is great.

If you want those extra few seconds, get a V cube.
