Hey, yeah, I'm new. But anyway, I first started with Pochmann, edges first, and using the sides and stickers in order to make sentances. (If I wanted to place the front sticker of the FL piece on the up face while doing the T perm, and then the same thing but with the right sticker of the RB piece, I would have formed a sentance like "Fire llamas really break".) But soon I discovered that the memo time was far too long (as I had made a bet with my brother for $100 that I couldn't solve it blindfolded, using 15 minute memo time, unlimited solving time. And no, it wasn't a hussle. I told him that he could keep the money, but he just kept sarcastically saying it was "witchcraft"). Soon, I just used the good ol tapping method. If I wanted the front sticker of the FL piece upward, I would tap the front sticker of the left piece. I strongly suggest you try this method for maybe a day or so, just to see if it's right for you.
For the corners, I use numbers in conjunction with letters denoting the face of the sticker that is going to be on the down face for the J perm. Is there any other ways that you people know of that is effective (this is sort of a question and answer)?

Yesterday I solved a 5x5x5 for the first time. While solving, I got a nasty pop, and when I finished the cube, I had a single middle edge piece flipped the wrong way. Did I just put the edge in backwards, or is this some sort of parity case?

so... does anyone use a C(II) cubies with and old type A core as their main cube, If anyone does, or has experience with this hybrid please tell me if It is supposed to pop like a ...
If so, can I fix it?

As I was looking through the Rubiks brand cubes all my friends gave me, I noticed that on some of the cubes, the center logo on the white side was different. I understand that this may be a nooby question, so don't rag on me for not knowing.

What's the difference between this cube..

all rubiks brands are different. some turn really well, some are just horrible. Well to answer your question, the rubiks company has changed their logo a few times. the second picture looks like an anniversary logo, like celebrating 30 years or something.

Oh alright, thank you. So basically, the first one is a bit older?

One of the pictures is older. The cubes will most likely be normal storeboughts.

Two questions:

What does it mean when you get "ninja'd" or something along the lines? I see people saying "EDIT: Ninja'd" and I'm just like

What does AUF stand for?

*Sigh* I'm preparing to :fp myself.

Being "ninja'd" is when you are replying to someone's post, or playing a forum game, but someone beats you to the punch. In your post, you would put "edit: ninja'd".
