Is there a sensible algorithm for an F permutation that does not require any axis rotations? IE no X, Y, or Z?

Probably not. You should just get an Eastsheen (or Maru) from dealperfect.

I like the <R U> better for Us and the <M U> better for H and Z. But I'm slow. 1.9x for Z and 1.4x for H and U.

I'd think the MU's would be faster for you, since you used to do roux. But the RU ones are faster for me. All personal preference.
