when bars are on back: [R2 U' R2'] U2' y (kinda like U' D', but your RH keeps gripped to the R slice) [R2 U' R2']

The next two algs are bad though:

when bars are on R: R2' F2 U' R2 U2 F2 U' R2
when bars are on L: R2' F2 U' F2 U2 R2 U' F2

OK! The thing I use that works really well is to use a dremel. That is as safe and easy as it gets.
