On a megaminx, if you scramble RU, after orienting the LL you can have both incorrectly permuted corners and edges, whereas on a 3x3, you only have incorrectly permuted edges?
This also means that megaminx LL can be 2 gen, right?

Technically, no. Try orienting edges 2-gen

How do you perform F U? For example F U R U' R' F'. Is there an easy way to do it without a regrip? Yes, I know, the U can be done like the U in the R U R' U trigger, but I don't like this way too much.

And how do you do R U R? I can do faster if I perform as R U R' R2^^

Well for the F U R U' R' F' case I would do: y2 f R U R' U' f'

For R U R, I would preform it with my thumb on the bottom or the R layer and index, middle, and ring on the top. Twist for R, U with index, then follow through with the last R.

I would never use an alg like that but if I did I would probably either rotate and do R U or just regrip. (or find a better alg that does not use F U like that.)

I use F R' F R2 U' R' U' R U R' F2, I like that one pretty much.

I average around 21-22. I think my F2L sucks (as in, is extremely inefficient). Should I learn some F2L algs or keep on learning OLLs? I know about half of them already.

Don't learn F2L algs, learn OLLs, they will help. Practice look ahead if you think your F2L is inefficient and rewatch (or watch for the first time) badmephisto's videos.

Learn F2L algs and OLL algs, you don't have to pick one or the other.
