Which one do you guys prefer, The shengshou or The MoYu (in general)
The ss 5x5 = 10 $ ; The ss 6x6 = 24 $ so there is difference of 14 $
The MoYu 5x5= 33 $ ; The MoYu 6x6 = 39 $ so there is difference of 6 $
and is ss overpricing their 6x6 ( i dont think 24 $ is worth for that )

I don't know why there's so much of a gap between SS 5x5 and 6x6, but not much of a gap between SS 6x6 and 7x7.

Don't know if this goes somewhere in hardware section or someplace else but here it goes: My Moyu Aolong (V1 lubed with Lubicle speedy) is AMAZING (for me) when I first use it - It has a nice bubbly feeling, but after maybe 15 solves, it just feels waaaaaay to slow for my taste. This is the second time I've lubed it (cleaned it out before this "lube session", and only used one drop for the whole cube). What am I doing wrong???

I am. So 1 so far.

I know DeeDubb (where is he nowadays...) also was in the army.

anyway.. Is there a certain practice routine I can do to improve turning accuracy for big cubes like 4x4 or 5x5 or even Rubik's brand cubes?

Just do loads of solves. Then again you can't really expect to not lock up on big cubes. But practice really helps.

I have 2 image requests.

1) Side by side image comparison of the glossiness of the aolong v1 pieces, aolong v2 new batch pieces and aolong v2 old batch pieces

2) Side by side comparison of the moyu aofu core and the shengshou mini 7x7 core

I just learned Sarah's Skewb method (Is there another name for it?) and I'm only on the beginner one.. What speed would be suggested to be at before I learn the intermediate method?

Invalid Scramble: Mirror Cube with 1 disoriented corner

picture001.jpgpicture002.jpgpicture003.jpgpicture004.jpgpicture005.jpg

Somehow one day while solving my Mirror Cube (as i normally do with the same method i use for the regular 3x3) I ended up with 1 top corner that will not orientate correctly. I have been looking for solutions online and have yet to find any solutions for 1 corner. I did find an april fools video about the exact problem i was having except it was with a normal 3x3. I have also tried an online cube solver, however the result is consistently "invalid scramble."

I have not taken the mirror cube apart, changed stickers, or altered it in any way.

Does anyone know of a solution? I have tried re-scrambling the cube several times and still end up with 1 corner askew.
