How often do you guys lube the sides of the edges/corners of your cubes? I find that my core and inside parts stay lubricated, which is good. However, the part where most of the friction occurs is between the walls of the pieces. And for me, the lubrication there seems to dry up/evaporate rather quickly compared to the core. Btw, I'm using Traxxas 50K.

whenever i feel it needs it. roughly once every 2 weeks with maru lube for pieces.

Is it worth learning algs for tricky F2L cases I struggle with while I practice lookahead, or should I just use my slightly longer intuitive method?

F2L should be intuitive, but this doesn't mean you cant 'learn' algs for tricky cases.

I'd definitely recommend doing this, and doing it slowly (at first) so you can see how the 'alg' works, and therefore making it intuitive.

Good luck

How are last slot algorithms created? Is there any intuitive way of coming up with these algorithms?

What is the name of that puzzle, which looks like a regular 3x3x3, and works as a regular 3x3x3, but additionally you can do further moves: for example, when you do only 45 degrees of turns on R and L sides, you can still turn the U side.

Edit: Ah, after 20 minutes of search, I found it... It's called the Mixup Cube.

-Is cube explorer difficult to use?

-Is cube explorer the best program for generating algs?

-Does anyone know what the latest version is and have a link? (Assuming Version 5 is the latest given the SS search bar but I would like to confirm)
1 - No, not at all
2 - It's one of the best. I do like ksolve a bit more, but it takes a lot more getting used to (lack of GUI, learning how to write/use .def files, etc.)
3 - not sure
