My dayan 2x2 is too slow! I've lubed the core with weight 4 and the pieces with weight 2/3, and the lube seems to dry up really quickly into this black gunk. I don't think tensions are an issue. The cube is on tight tensions, but somehow I can still pull a row of pieces out if I turn it 45 degrees. I don't want to risk looser tensions because of this.

On the other hand, My LingPo is too fast! I've lubed the core with weight 4 and the pieces with a generous amount of weight 5, and yet it constantly overshoots. The corner cutting on this cube seems to be worse on the sides with the alignment mechanism. Tightening the tensions will result a cube that can't corner cut well.

Help?

I find that using high-viscosity lube in the core slows down the whole cube a lot. Use a thinner lube in the core, or no lube at all, and it will get faster. You should also put some lube on the corners shells as they have a large surface area of contact; for which I use a low wt. shock oil.

Cubezz Points?

I recently ordered from cubezz and on my account it says that I have 12CZ Points

does anyone know what these points are used for?
