{super duper good advice}
I got a sub4 cross at 32sec average, so I believe with your times your cross must be at least sub3 by now !
{Great point}
I decided to time my cross solves, mo34 = 3.60.
My times sucked, then I realized I was using a weilong, then I switched to my fangshi, and my times plummeted.
Some were x crosses, just for kicks.
Damn my fangshi is good, hehe.

I'm just wondering, at my speed (23 on an ok day, 21/22 on a good day), should I be drilling algs or just purely working on F2L? I can time some f2l only splits now, but its around 9-10 for the pairs IIRC, 4 for the cross, and 6 for LL or so.

In other news, Shengshou plans to release DIY 6x6 kit, hoping to stop restickering complaints.

OK, thank you everyone. I need to lube my 5, 6 and 7 but I was too scared to take them apart. Haha. If 6x6 is the only difficult one I'm not too worried, because I don't like it nearly as much as 4, 5, or 7 anyway.

4x4 isn't honestly that bad. They're trickier if you aren't used to it, but they go pretty fast. 5x5 is way easy. 7x7 is easy, you just need to assemble the initial 3x3 part first which is somewhat tricky.

While I am not positive, 3-style seems to be the fastest most effective method that pretty much all the 3bld ers use.
don't quote me on that.

whats meant with 3-style i mean there are alot of 3 styles EF OP speed optimal... and dont know if more or they are all the same, but i only know old pouchmann so i just want to get that clear in my head

I base my calculations on 20sec average since your time split doesn't match your average ( you say averaging 21-22sec but the split 4+10+6 makes 20sec ). So, your cross takes 20% of the solve which is really poor, your F2L pairs take 50% of it which is alright, and your LL takes 30%. Therefore, everything seems alright, but if you want to sub20 you'd need a little faster cross, which might help you predict the first F2L pair better or look ahead into F2L better to get the F2L a little faster as well. Do you always predict the 4 pieces of the cross ? Because if you do, it means you have less than 2 tps on your cross ( 6-8 moves in 4sec ). You could easily sub2 it.

EF? If that's edges first, then it really doesn't matter whether you solve the corners or edges first. 3OP (I'm guessing that's what OP is) isn't a good method, especially for multi, as you have to memorise every piece twice and do two algorithms for them, which isn't a good idea. Speed optimal commutators are what most fast people use.

Not including recognition pauses, and the times are truncated. I think. My F2L 1 isn't as good as it should be, although my cross is worse.
I'm going to spend the day working on my cross, because I don't think enough during it, and often leave the last piece to chance.
Thanks!

Whats the most common CLL case you'll get in a solve? IS there a way to figure this out?
You calculate probabilities by the amount of symmetries something has. Seeing as CLL doesn't have a whole lot of symmetries, I imagine most of them are about the same, with a few that are a bit rarer(H cases come to mind, because if you do a U2 they are the same.) I'm gonna ballpark and say that H diagonal, pure H, and diagonal solved and solved are among the rarer ones, and the horizontal swaps are more common.
I don't think there is a most common case.

E2: TDM has better answer.

For most subsets of CLL (U/L/T/P/A/S), the probability of getting them is 4/27. For H, it's 2/27, and for O it's 1/27. Within each subset, each of the six cases has an equal probability. However, in H, two of theses cases are the same as two others, and in O four are the same. Therefore, there is a (4/27)/6 chance of getting all cases except for permuted H, opposite H (both are (2/27)/6, half the probability of the other cases), permuted O and opposite O (which are both (1/27)/6, half the chance of the previous two).
So in answer to your question: the most common CLL cases are all U/T/L/P/A/S cases, and the adjacent swaps for the H and O sets.

Could you please tell me how I can edit my result at the weekly competition? I tried it several times, but nothing happend. My real result on 7x7 blindfolded was 2:54:33.01. The 2.00 which is shown is wrong of course.

I think that the weekly competition site only works when the results are in the form minutes:seconds, so you'd need to write your result as 174:33.01.

I got a rubiks brand cube for chrsitmas, learned it, got faster, purchased a MoYu Weilong Version 2. I see quite a few ppl saying that Dayan Zhanchi is even better? is that true? would i notice any difference/improvment if i got myself a zhanchi ?
