So I loosened the screws on my Dayan Zanchi and I feel like I did something wrong. I just popped the center caps off and unscrewed a bit for each side. Now it slides better but the corner pieces are really easy to flip, is that supposed to happen or am I not supposed to loosen it at all or am I missing a step?
Thanks in advance

That's supposed to happen. Of course. You can tighten it back up a bit. A little goes a long way.
Lube it too. With silicone oil. Like Traxxas or Lubix. Go to the Lubrication thread for that.

Should make my cube cute white shengshu v3 What is the difference between Florain and konsta

Konsta is the internal pieces and Florian the outer pieces. I find the Konsta the most important one, to get rid of the lock ups

People, How to do the M and M' with finger tricks. It would be nice if I could see a video. Currently I do M with right ring finger and M2 with 2 times right ring finger and M', do it moving L and R.

My first megaminx (from not that long ago) was a shengshou. The stickers were not that good to begin with and then I modded it with the stickers on and they got worse. Really love the modded megaminx and it's smooth movement. It does need some more grip.

My plan was to try tiles. The MF8 tiles were readily available generally the right colors but had the MF8 logo stamped in them. Now the WCA has gone a little regulation crazy and tiles can't be taller than 1mm.

Still want to try tiles but also want to have one legal megaminx. Does anyone know of tiles that meet the legal requirement? Fit on a shengshou?

Cubesmith?
I'm not completely sure if they will fit on the shengshou megaminx because I haven't tried it before (I think they will fit). Someone else can comment whether or not they actually fit on the shengshou.

Can do M somewhat but cant do M'

So basically we do M with left pinky followed with ring finger of left hand and M' by pushing the M slide towards back with ring finger ??
I am doing fine with M but can anyone explain M' to me..

What's arguably the best megaminx on the market currently? And can you give a couple reasons why?

Out of the box, the consensus seems to be that Dayan is the better brand. However, after modding, it seems like a lot of people prefer the Shengshou.

I'm no expert on Megaminx, but this is what I've learned around the forums. Any more knowledgeable person should correct me if they know more.

I think the DaYan with ridges has to take it. Lube the springs and the puzzle and it's really good.

I have a stickerless DaYan with ridges and it's super. I also have a very well modded Shengshou. I put blood sweat and time into doing it right and it is smooth but if I can't get the right tiles/grips for it it is not going to outperform the DaYan. The WCA just banned tiles above a 1mm height.
