I've been cubing for what will be 3 years in January. Lately I've lost the love for it that I used to have. What are some good things to learn that might reawaken my interest in cubing? My favorite events (in order) are: 3x3, Pyra, 4x4, and 3BLD. The only thing I think I'm any good at is 3x3.

Try Roux and bigBLD. Oh, and 1x1.

Learning 3-style for BLD is very rewarding IMO. Try an event you've never practiced seriously before. I always find that fun because you improve very quickly at first.

Does anyone use the OLL R U R D R' U' R D' R2 (chameleon, eyes on the back)? I discovered it while while learning a WV case and I have not seen it anywhere else.
I find it to be less "clumsy" than the standard r U R' U' r' F R F', especially with OH.

I use l U R' D R U' R' D' x (the second half of the E perm). But I do use r U R' U' r' F R F' for the COLL. I just find it easier to do, and also I can see the B face of PLL before the rotation (I can't recog from just 2 sides most of the time).
I do. It's a little easier to predict PLL with r U R' U' r' F R F' though.
They both do the exact same thing. Try doing the inverse of the normal OLL followed by that alg ([F R' F r U R U' r'] y [R U R D R' U' R D' R2]). Same with my alg and the mirror of the normal OLL.
