Does not excuse his behaviour though. I had my order go from processed to shipped and I have not received anything which means he has actually seen my order, changed it from pending to shipped and then done nothing. Also there are other ways to contact customers like youtube and these forums.
I had a similar experience (ie, order eventually marked "shipped", never received, no communication), but I managed to open a PayPal dispute (my first ever) before the 45-day expiry. I eventually got a refund, which took a further 30+ days of going through the process with PayPal. It seemed to me that izo didn't even reply to any of the messages from PayPal re the dispute, so he must be completely "off the 'net", including gmail. Well, izo has lost me as a customer, and I subsequently gave another cube shop several orders - approx $350 - that would have gone to izo.
I hope he provides a good explanation when he returns to the 'net...

I sometimes feel the same way.
Partially because I strive for perfection. I would take a break for however long you feel like you need. Once I reach my goals, I will probably be done.

I'd go and practice other cubes, like the 4x4. See how you are when you get back. 4x4 and bigger cubes force you to lookahead better (more to look ahead at) which helps with 3x3 too.
Has there ever been a time on speedsolving.com when someone posted 6 (or more) consecutive times? (No offense intended, rj. I was just curious because it looked quite funny)!
What is the maximum number of turns need to make a solved first face on 2x2?
And is there anywhere that has statistics on it, similar to CFOP cross study statistics that I have seen.

there was, and I saved a screenie of it and posted it in the "what annoys you about cubing" thread and then my post got deleted. I can't find the picture of it anymore on my computer, but i'll try to find it.
