By the way I uploaded my video!! Here is the link --Clicky

My hand modded Ultimate does everything your cube does and it's not nearly as loose. Mine may actually reverse cut a little bit more than yours. I've had regular GuHongs that I've put together and set really loose cut well past 45. It was unreal lol. I couldn't handle them without popping them though since I was used to my A-V which used to be able to take a beating.

i actually have a question:

what is up with all the controversial off topic discussion threads?

also, just in case anyone posts about the gans cube, it sucks. mini review:

it has a cool stickerless (competition legal) design in which the pieces are fitted within shells, very hard to describe, but its cool. kind of like C4U interchangeable tile cube, but instead they are not corner and edge caps, its more like the corner is a cap to the internals.

the cube will not pop. the internals are kind of a cross between the A3-f and a guhong. the edges have tabs to keep them in place.

these are about the only 2 positives. negatives.

the cube is a lockup massacre. it locks up like CRAZY! on any tension. its probably the worst locking up cube i've ever solved.

the colors are for the most part speedsolvable, however the YELLOW looks more like an offwhite than yellow. it is REALLY annoying at night time with yellow lighting. its practically IMPOSSIBLE to distinguish between yellow and white. so, at the very least, the yellow side needs to be stickered. green, orange, and red are very similar to vcube colors which is really nice.

this cube sucks for speed. im going to break it in a bit more and try some more different lubing techniques, but i think it wil still suck.

overall 2/10. horrible cube.

Rubiks better?

Should I learn full CLL? I'm a Roux/ZZ solver (as of a few days ago, actually)...

Also, where's a good (preferably printable) database for CLL? I've contemplated CLL, but I don't know if I should just stick with OCLL/PLL...

CLL is helpful for 2x2. CMLL for roux. CLL for EPLLs for ZZ. If anything, its good for 2x2. for ZZ, it'll probably be faster just to stick with OCLL/PLL. . imho the benefit of zz is that you always get an OCLL. . not that you can use CLL to get EPLL. but of course the more knowledge you have, the more you can take advantage of easy cases. . i mean. . if the CLL is slapping you in the face, you might as well force an EPLL. .

edit: yeah, rubiks is almost better. . out of the box vs out of the box no. . but rubiks can be a good cube. .

Thanks for the info, though I'm more of a Roux solver...

So... New question: Is there a printable page for CMLL (for Roux) anywhere? I know of "Waffle's" CMLL case set on Youtube (which indeed is helpful), but I find it easier if I have a hardcopy, and I can reference it on-the-go.

P.S. I find the biggest advantage of ZZ to be the F2L and how you only need R, U, and L to finish it off, and cube rotations are a lot less tempting...
The skip to OCLL is also very useful, though.
