I don't know what Zellers is but Walmart and Toys R Us do not carry anything from stackmat. I'm trying to find a stackmat+timer for less than $30 with shipping and I don't think it's gonna happen. I did not expect shipping for the thing to be $11 and it's shipping from within the US. Using USPS Ground...that's ridiculous.

I am at a stage where I want to start breaking down and analysing my solve times. I did this to a limited extent a month or so ago, just glancing at the timer and noting the time to a round second. This is fine for say remembering the split at the end of F2L or end of cross and F2L but not really possible, without severe distraction, if I want a split at cross F2L, OLL, PLL having not developed my memorisation techniques yet

Anyone know of a timer with multiple split times?

A lot of time during F2L I need to do something like BUB' to insert a pair with rotating the cube. Does anyone have any tips for doing this without re-gripping. At the moment it's quicker for me to just rotate the cube and do RUR' but it doesn't help with look-ahead.

The only other option is d and d' to allow insertion with RU/LU whilst preserving U. But I think the rotation is faster imo.

Quick sticker question.

I need to buy some new stickers for my A5. I want something that is as good as the sticker that originally comes with the A5.
The quality of the stickers are perfect for me. They don't peel and they don't fade away. They do chip though, as my nail catches the sticker and tears at it sometimes. But, they've lasted me almost 8 months, and a few colors are becoming too chipped.

I wanted a set that is bright, because I don't like how dark the original A5 stickers are.

So, I've been looking around, and it seems like almost everyone recommends Cubesmith. I found a perfect Bright Set on their site.

So, my questions are:
-Are they as good quality as the original A5 stickers?
-Are there any other Bright sets with good quality, from another site, that are better than Cubesmith?
-Is the pink on that Bright set that I linked, competition legal?
-Do they fit on an A5, or do I have to do some modding to the stickers, to make them fit?

Thanks.

yes, they are as good as your original stickers, or even better
I don't konw, cubesmith is the best known site for stickers
yes, any color is competition legal (it just has to be one color per side, no matter what colors/color scheme you are using)
yes, they fit on all nomral cubes

Thanks for the responses!

Also, I was asking if they fit on A5s, because after some searching, I see that they don't fit on FIIs, since the sticker is a few millimeters bigger than the FII cubies.

If you measure the existing A5 stickers you'll notice that they are 14.5mm. You would have trouble fitting 16mm stickers on the center and corner cubies, so get a 15mm set (F Type).

I would not recommend getting the full bright. Get the half bright, then buy a bright blue separate. The pink is very similar to the orange, I've learned.

I'm having problems adjusting the Dayan+ Mf8 4x4x4 tensions.
The inner layer is just perfect, but the outerlayers are kind of...rough, I think.
From what I found in the foruns, the right tension for the outside layers is to leave it almost as a non-popping tension, which is right what I have done. The thing is: should I lube it like a Rubik's brand, taking one edge piece apart and spraying inside or should I do something else?
Does this cube take some breaking in time to be "perfect"?

I broke mine in before I did anything to it and it's nice. Eric Reese and Evan Liu did not. They put Lubix in the inner core and Maru lube for the layers. From what I've heard that makes a very good combination.
