Anyone know a good V perm? I am currently updating my PLL's and trying to get faster ones and this is the last one I feel to be very slow. I use...
L' U R U' L U L' U R' U' L U2 R U2 R'
any answer would be appreciated.

If I were to make a Barrel Square-1 that was completely cylindrical, would it be legal in competition? I seem to think that it wouldn't, but I can't find anything in the regulations against it. It doesn't allow any extra moves, and it doesn't make any piece ambiguous.

I went to a bookstore the other day and I looked at the Rubik' cubes. It's the hexagonal packaging type; I noticed that the stickers were made of something like vinyl - PET maybe? Can anybody confirm this?

I think a reason this would be illegal would be because of rule 3h, specifically the part that mentions "more pieces are visible". If you had a barrel square-1, there would be angles from which a different set of colors would be visible than would be true with a normal square-1. Specifically, if you looked at it directly from the front, you would see some side colors that you wouldn't otherwise see on a normal square-1. I would think it would be illegal, personally.

Just wondering, who has a really good official single (like sub-13) but really sucky average? As in, the difference between single and average (in the same round ofc) is really great.

12.56 --> 18.58
11.56 --> 16.03

so does anyone have another V-perm? that is the one algorithm i get in over 4 sec.

I use the one from Erik's PLL video. I love it. Not sure why people dislike V-perms.
