I've been practicing too. I want to finish and avg of 100 before next nats.

I've been training with cheap energy drink, but I have been doing an a12 for orangina though.

As a rough guide you can just look at how deep the screws are.
If you want to take it apart and pull on opposite centres for a more accuracy then go ahead.
I set mine just tight enough so they don't pop.
edit - As for lube I have no frame of reference since I just use a thick squeeze on silicone sealant used on watches.
It's amazing.

I actually think it is energy drink but I am not sure. Either way he has an advantage because he can squeeze the bottle.

what would i set my guhongs tensions to if i dont want it to pop but i want it to be fast and cut almost 45 just in case. about where would the screws be at? could someone post some pictures or a vid please. its been popping 1 in every 5 solves before i decided to fix it and i cant find a good tension for it now.

Don't purely learn badmephistos. i did that mistake. some of his algs are straight up terrible
use hte wikipedia if you feel a case isn't very nice (its still useful to look at the wiki for algs)

badmephisto only aims for easy to memorize algs

That PLL thing is hard to visualize, the arrows are much easier.

Anyway, are these up-to-date algs?

I saw a sticky in the general discussion with links to algs, it had a lot more of them for each case.


Another question:How do I practice OLL and PLL? I can't make a certain case happen every time and practicing all of them at once in ludicrous.

I'd go use Yu Nakajima's cutex algs. they're pretty good
