Alrighty, what's a reasonable time for the cross? It's talking me about 10 seconds right now.

What are your total times?

1:12 is my total average. Oddly, I'm faster LBL than Fridrich proabably because I fail at cross+F2L.

I guess my problem is more with stringing those moves with U-layer moves. How do you perform M U? Pulling twice with the index finger like that is awkward for me. Doing a left index push for the U isn't so bad, but I'd like to see how the the Roux pros do it (at a speed that doesn't look like a blurred assault on the cube).

Okay, well, it's not out of whack for your times- but your cross is something that can be easily improved.

Be advised that Macky uses the Japanese color scheme and solves with cross on blue.

Use your left index finger for the M moves.

I can't close the LCD of my camera while the usb cable is attached to it so it uses more battery. do you have any idea how i can turn it off?
I have attached it's images.
I tried to turn it off by going to menu but I didn't find anything.
(in the pictures the camera is off, that is why the LCD is off.)
I have also tried the 3 button that are visible in the picture.

Is Taiyan II a good cube?

Not worth the money in my opinion, it was over-hyped just like it seems the GuHong is now, Its terribly uncontrollable when loose and can't cut corners at all when tight, maybe if you put some shock oil in it to smooth it out and slow it down it would be good, but otherwise, i would say it isn't worth getting unless you are just adding to a collection. Not really main speedcube material.
