My Shengshou big cubes keep popping. Is tight tensions the only way to avoid this?

Yes, and also practice accurate turning, personally I think dealing with pops and lockups are inherently part of big cube solving. Try setting your tensions somewhat loose and turn fast but gingerly. Then once you get better at accurate turning (you only need to do a few solves, maybe an Ao5) tighten your cube a small amount and test it, small amount and test it, over and over until you have the tensions at which everything feels stable and tight enough so it won't pop, but is as fast as possible.

so i seem to be having trouble with the "push" turn with either hand...
for example using your left hand to push the LUB sticker to BUR or mirror that with your right hand
it seems like i just can't push it far enough and it's super uncomfortable. i've been using it for a few OH PLL algs but it's super hard to do.
do i just have small hands or something?

Have you tried pushing FUL to LUB instead? I use that and find it much easier. I don't use your fingertrick at all.

yeah i do that already :/ this push isn't for normal U turns just sometimes.
plus i seem to see people doing it all the time. its not the standard U turn but it can be useful for like U R' + cube rotation or L U'

Hello guys I have recently ordered Rubik's clock from here http://cubezz.com/Buy-4151-Magic+Clock+Puzzle.html but it has arrived with different design like this https://www.google.co.uk/search?biw...2Fcube-related-rubiks-clock_c230.html;750;695 My question is are you aloud to use one of this clocks in official WCA competition :D thanks!
Yep, the wca rules say you can use different faceplates if you want. Also, I'd recommend putting that link in a spoiler, it's really big.

I have a question about 4x4. What is double parity? Are there different algs that solve both the parity cases at once? Is it all right if I use the Lucas Double Parity alg for OLL Parity? Will it affect PLL?

Oh, you're back. Double parity is when you have both OLL and PLL parity at the same time. There are algs that solve both at once. (Go on YouTube and look for Antoine cantin's 'how to sub-3 OLL parity' video)

I'm not sure what the Lucas double parity one is.
