Is there a multi player hi-games cube sim? Someone a few days ago on irc asked if anyone wanted to race, I said no because I hadn't sim'd before. Now I'm doing a lot, and wondering where the 2player section is. Or is it a different site that just looked like hi-games?

You're probably looking for this: http://www.ryanheise.com/cube/speed/

I have a rubiks.com brand i brought from the store when i decided id learn how to do the cube about a month ago and i have dramatically decreased my time, but i still have a while to go, i can get below 50 seconds at times but i average about 55 seconds. my stickers are really really bad, like they ruin my fun sometimes. i was thinking of getting another cube when i get to about 30 ish secs, but i was wondering if i should bother replacing my stickers right now or just put up with it until i get my next cube, how often do you guys go back to your first rubiks.com cube? there was 2 questions in that i think, soz ;)

1.)Buy cubesmith stickers/tiles. They are very cheap and last a long time.
2.)After I got my DIY's I never used my rubik's brand to speedsolve again.

Hope this answers your questions.

Any tips for someone trying to get into solving computer cubes? Right now I'm just trying to figure out which keys do what :o

Try to figure out what key does what xD
More seriously, I found that the going was very slow when I tried to learn the keys by trial and error. If you need to, look at a reference for the keys. I ended up reinforcing mistakes- I got in the habit of pressing the wrong key. I improved dramatically after I started looking whenever I needed to. Granted, I'm still not very fast. I do computer cubes as fast as I do real cubes. Slow.

Any solution for that problem will probably be longer and more complicated than simply scrambling like normal and solving centres. Scrambling with the restriction of keeping centres solved will most likely result in much longer scrambles to give properly scrambled edges.

Hehe, I started sim on hi-games a few days ago and love it.
First I suggest you create an account, so you can choose colour scheme, and controls. It also keeps track of your records.
Secondly, I suggest you start with 2x2. Just learn R, R', L', L, U and U'. Also learn y, y', x and x'.
Just start with those controls, and as you get used to it, and it starts to become second nature, add more moves. I moved onto 3x3 after a little bit, and I learned D and D'. Get used to the controls, and slowly build up until you know much more.
Then, practise :) Having a profile keeps me motivated, because of the highscore list, and also my previous pbs.

I've seen some different things so I'm going to ask.
Is corner cutting performing R? and reverse corner cutting performing R'?

Turn the U layer 5 degrees anticlockwise. Do an R' turn. That's corner cutting. Turn the U layer clockwise 5 degrees, and do an R' turn. That's reverse corner cutting.
EDIT: I had the two switched.
