Even though his method isn't the norm, I'm sure it would still work. Just out of order. I don't really see the point to doing the edges last, but it should work.

Tell me Womack, does it affect parities at all?

If it is your method, why don't you know what it is called??

Totally irrelevant. Don't clog the thread with your rambling. Go do it somewhere else. This is a question thread, not a big cube method discussion.

EDIT: Oh ok, thanks, I wasn't sure i it would affect the chances of getting them or not.

how is this irrelevant this thread is for all cubing questions look at previous pages and tell me if you see stuff about big cubes

Lol @ Schmidt who is misunderstanding his question.

@ Womack: It's the Cage method you're describing there I think, when I solve with it for fun I do it like that at least.

Looked it up on the wiki, Cage is not really like that, you solve the bottom layer completely and then build the "cage" afterwards.
Dunno what that method is called, it's just some other form of reduction I guess, but still fun to play around with.

what is the most common ways to do R' OH? I feel like using index finger to push BRU takes more time because of the partial rotation. Also, what about U? Just index finger pushes LBU? Ive watched a couple videos but they all are different, and from 2008-2009. Lastly, where can i get an updated link for OH OLLs and PLLs? I checked the wiki for a nice compilation of all of them, but they dont have something like that.

Facepalm.

Michael, I wasn't talking to you there, I was talking to the other guy. He was starting an argument in a question thread. I have nothing against your method. Lol, if you read what I wrote, and looked at the quote I put, then you would see why I said that.

I'm not always yelling at you, dude.

From my understanding a lot of the fast OH solvers use their pinky to push on FRD. If your index finger happens to already be positioned near or on BRU, pulling on that with your index might be faster.

Also, what about U? Just index finger pushes LBU?
Pushing on FLU by flicking with your index can be a very fast motion. Depending on the position of your fingers during the solve, it might be faster to use your current technique of pushing on LBU.

Weston has a nice video showing his OH PLLs, here if you haven't already watched it.

EDIT: I've always done U and R' the way you described, and I regret not practising the above techniques. Not that I practice OH, but my turning relies way too much on my index finger. (To execute the CW U-perm: R2 U R U R' U' R' U' R' U R', I use my index finger for 9 of the moves)

Really? That seems like a hassle unless your pinky is already there. It's much easier for me to use my pinky to push DRB upwards, because my pinky is there most of the time. Huh, learn something every day, I suppose.

Ugh, me too. It SUCKS. It's hard for me to do too many U's and R's in a row. The other U-Perm (the inverse) is so much smoother for me :/
