No haha I'm asking for a different probability that I'm too stupid to find.

oh derp

It should be 1/4 then, because the sledgehammer takes care of another one of the 8 EO cases.

EDIT: Wait no, give me a minute.

Hmm.

7/8 cases don't have solved EO. If you have a solved pair, then sledgehammer will solve one of those 7. But if you don't ever have a solved pair (R U R' insert), then you'll never get solved EO for any of those 7.

So the answer is somewhere between 1/8 and 1/4, but I think it actually depends on how you solve the various F2L cases.

Would this EO make it ½ then?

Thank you guys, I will use partial edge control too if i learn it.

E-Perm Not working

I am using 2LookPll to permute the last layer but the problem is that every time i case rises up weher i have to use eperm and i use this alg
x' [(R U' R') D (R U R')] u2 [(R' U R) D (R' U' R)]

but 100 tries and still i get one white on the top layer
please help

This alg is better, but you should figure out what you did wrong with your original alg with the way DeeDubb stated above

It's likely that you are doing the D move in the wrong direction.
Also, you can use any diagonal swap PLL to solve corners for 2LPLL. Many recommend Yperm over Eperm.

That too, all the moves should be done from the face's perspective, and not from yours. The left ring finger D/D' moves in the E Perm makes it harder to master than the Y Perm, but you'll eventually learn both of them if you plan on becoming faster.

I started learning full OLL last Saturday and I have learned 30 cases so far, my times have gone from averaging about 23 to 26. I know that it is normal for times to go up when learning F2L, but did this ever happen to you guys while learning full OLL? I probably shouldn't of learned 5 a day, but what do you think I should do, accept that my recognition will suck until I practice more and continue learning them at a little slower pace, then really work on recognition when I finish, or stop where I am at and get the ones I know down better?
