I've been watching fast people solving, and trying to see some things I'm not doing the same, and one is I never push U with my left index from FLU corner, and I see that a lot. What % of your Us are left index flicks vs. standard right index?

I only do the mirror of that move. I don't even know why I'm better at that.

I already do most of my U2s with my left, which is very helpful. I feel like if I can add some U with my left, It will greatly improve my mobility. I'm gonna start working on it, but it'll take a while to fully incorporate.

True. I sometimes do U with left hand, although it is quite prone to lockups due to lack of practice. (I never actually use it that often)

Partial edge control w/ U2 R U2 R'

I've been trying to be more aware of edge control for last-pair F2L inserts, and definitely understand sledgehammer vs. R U R' for certain cases. But I'm struggling with understanding the advantage of U2 R U2 R' over U R U’ R’. Given that both are two-gen on R and U, I'm having trouble finding instances where one will produce more solved edges than the other. I do see that they influence which edges are solved, but not the number.

Am I missing something? When would you use U2 R U2 R' instead of U R U’ R’?

Thanks.

The edge orientation is not changed by R and U moves, so if edge (orientation) control is all you're after then you can use them interchangeably :)
I think you would only use U2 R U2 R' if you see that it will get you an OLL skip.

Help I need information on the Lightake checkout page I don't get it I have bought $38.56 subtotal of cubes and no discount I will ship to Canada which shipping method should I choose? Why can't I get in the checkout page?

I just learned ZZ yesterday and I am currently averaging around 28 (doing EO+Line). My solves are usually 20-26 when I have 2, 4, or 6 bad edges but are WAYY slower when I have 8 or 10 bad edges since I can't track them all in my head. Do any of you ZZ solvers have some advice that might help me or tricks that you use?

8 bad edges: track only the four oriented edges, get them to the S slice, do F/F' and B/B'.
10 bad edges: same as 8, move the two oriented ones to the S slice, orient 8 with F/F' and B/B', and orient the last two.

For 8/10 track the good edges. Put them in the S-slice. Then F/B moves.

Edit: Ninja'd by TDM.

I seriously have no idea why I didn't think of that for 8 bad edges...

But can you explain the 10 bad edges a little more? That doesn't make sense to me...
