HKNow Store DIY kits are not actual DIY kits because the pieces come already assembled and stickered. All you have to do is put the pieces on the core. But if you really want an already assembled DianMa you can purchase it from another store.

how long does 2ml of calvin's lube last? and which is better : high or medium viscosity?

depends on how many cubes you are lubing regularly. it also depends on how clean your cube is, how new the cube is (cube dust becoming minimal after being broken in and washed out) also depends on your preference. if you apply it over and over again to one broken in cube, i would imagine 2ml would last years?

can hknowstore send me already installed cubes instead of diy? (for example i was looking for moyu dianma but i dont want the diy because im lazy lol)

ask them. many stores that offer cubes in DIY will assemble for a fee if you ask them. I wouldnt put it past them to lube/tension/sticker it properly, so i wouldn't go there. dont be lazy. you would end up doing more work if it was done improperly or not to your satisfaction anyway. just imagine peeling off all the stickers, getting the goo off, and restickering. not a hard task, but if it you were doing it yourself, you would make sure it was done properly.

Cfce is cross+f2l+cll+ell

Its kinda like backwards cfop
42 algs to orient and permute the corners
Then like ~28 algs to flip and permute the edges
Its just another two step last layer method
But there are less algs, and it takes less moves on average to use cfce

But the cases are worse (at least for ELL). CLL is good.

My dayan 2x2 is too slow! I've lubed the core with weight 4 and the pieces with weight 2/3, and the lube seems to dry up really quickly into this black gunk. I don't think tensions are an issue. The cube is on tight tensions, but somehow I can still pull a row of pieces out if I turn it 45 degrees. I don't want to risk looser tensions because of this.

On the other hand, My LingPo is too fast! I've lubed the core with weight 4 and the pieces with a generous amount of weight 5, and yet it constantly overshoots. The corner cutting on this cube seems to be worse on the sides with the alignment mechanism. Tightening the tensions will result a cube that can't corner cut well.

Help?

My Dayan 2x2 is like that too with the tensions. I would just try your LingPo, if not i have definitely heard great things about the WitTwos

In theory, yes. if not faster take one example, the oll which looks like a h is an ell
Its soooo fast
R U R' U' M' U R U' Rw'
Then again there are probably more difficult cases...

Well, every case could be spamming M,U moves, but algs like that, that are R,Rw,M,U are usually shorter and sometimes faster. Recognition is only really bad for about 4 cases. The others aren't too bad.

The adjacent 2-flips with U-perm, that aren't three cycles. They are a pain. The rest really aren't that bad. The 4-flip u-perms are kinda annoying too.
I would've thought 4-flips would be easier to recognise than ELLs because you can see all 4 edges at the same time. The others I get sometimes in solves, and I usually can't tell the difference which is which. I think I may have learned a few of them at one point, because when I get the COLL case that can be solved with F R U R' U' F' I do that, and then an ELL, so I learned the adjacent 2-flip cases... and then forgot most of them. Of the 12, I can remember 4: the 3-cycles, H perm and solved EP.

I figured out you can recognize all ELLs (except EPLL), with just U and F faces. I actually know all of the 3-cycles, all pure EO and EP, all Z perms, H-perms for adj and 4-flip. So I think I need about 9 cases.
