Wikipedia isn't a good source, especially for something like cubing. No inspection and rainbow cube (what even is that?) have never been events. I'm not sure about the first world championships, when there were completely different regulations (and no WCA) and there could have been no inspection, but it has never been in any WCA competitions since then and wasn't an official event.

According the WCA regulations history, the No Inspection event was removed mid-2006, and Siamese Cube and Rainbow Cube were removed early 2007

How do you F'?
I usually use my right thumb, but is using the left pointer finger faster?

Thanks!

For J perms T perms Y perms or anything that has R U R' F' and certain OLLs, I use right pointer in a backhand flick similar to OH.
For the rest I use thumb.

Dayan 2x2 Red torpedo

Hi all,

I just received my dayan 2x2 and lubed it. While lubing, I noticed that one of the torpedos is red, while all the others are black. Does everyone with a dayan 2x2 have this?

Interesting, I never knew that. I've never seen anything about them on the WCA website, but I've seen the Magics and MBO several times. Why is it that those results are still on there but there's nothing about the other three?

What is the term for the set of algorithms that only affect two or more corners of the same face? For example, R2 D R' U2 R D' R' U2 R'.

I could argue semantics with you... but I think you are referring to the second look cases of 2-look OLL.

I mean the set of algorithms that has absolutely no effect on the permutation or orientation of any pieces besides the corners on one side.

A sune moves edges, whereas F R' U2 R F' R' F U2 F' R does not.
