I use CCT on Windows 8 (actually 8.1 nowadays but same thing).

PPT definitely works for me. Dunno about CCT, but generally Windows 8's compatibility with Windows 7 is pretty close.

Thanks for the info. I got a new computer for Christmas and it came with windows 8 that's why I asked that question.

Thanks. And one more, How to record my solves?
I don't have a tripod.

I use a mobile phone propped up between two cubes!!

Anything, in other words, that has video capture abilities. I'm sure you could use a webcam or phone, rather than pro recording equipment such as full HD camcorders, etc..

In some of Antoine's OH Walkthrough solves, he uses rotations to orient edges. Should I just try to put MOedges in the F2L slot I am about to insert before the rotation or is there something else? I understand why it works, but I feel like sometimes I am doing a lot more moves and VHLS may be better. Any more general rules for it?

What is a global average? Is it the same thing as an average?

Global average is basically what you average overall over tons of solves (what you "normally" average)
so it's basically the same thing as an average (sometimes it's more of an estimate than a definite time).

Thanks. And one more, How to record my solves?
I don't have a tripod.

Build stuff out of legos and use your phone or something. I use my lego ipod stand and my ipod 4th gen (this is my video set up if you really want to know).
I'm planning on making something out of cardboard so I can record with my ipad (only because it can actually focus on stuff and I'm too cheap to get a proper camera that can actually record in HD) It's really hard to get the ipad at a good angle though.
