I'm thinking to do my first comp next year and on the website it says: All competitors must be available for judging/scrambling according to 1f2 of the WCA regulations.
Do they mean scrambling for every event or only for the events you're competing in?

Hi, guys, which is the most durable stackmat timer? Or are they about the same? Thanks!

Maybe gen2 over gen3 because gen3 doesn't stop well. Theres lots of videos about it.

You probably won't have to scramble. But if you can't scramble for an event they'll probably just ask someone else.

Only for the events you're competing in. If you won't compete in clock, they cannot force you to scramble and judge in clock. (But you can volunteer of course.)

I use that alg, but there is also R U' R' U R U' R' U2 R U' R'
My time for that case just went from 1.8 average to sub-1. Thanks!

Anyone have anything for the corner solved, edge flipped (better than r R U R' U' r' U2' R U R U' R2')?
E: And this case and its mirror. Its mirror isn't that bad, but it and the edge flip are my two worst cases by almost 0.2, and the mirror is next.

For the first case, do a sledgehammer, and that takes you to the case that I showed you above.
For the second, I do, R (F U R U' R' F') U' R'
For the inverse, R U (F R U R' U' F') R'

Idk... that case is long enough anyway. Also I hate sledgehammers.
Again, idk about these. F moves are kinda slow. They're definitely shorter than what I was using before though; they're probably twice as short. I'll practise these, because as I've found with my L perms, if the alg is really short then it's often faster than the longer algs where I can get a higher TPS. Thanks again!

They are just the ones I use. Have you heard of cube explorer? Its really awesome for finding algs, and where I found most of my awkward f2l case algs.

Yeah, but I asked here instead of the request an alg thread because I was looking for algs that people already used and found fast. The problem with creating algs is that you have to search through a lot of algs that you've generated and try and find fast ones, but most of the fast algs are already being used (because they're fast), so it would be a waste of time to do that when I could get some from here. Also, cube explorer doesn't do Rw/Lw moves. I just tried it now, and it's given me one good alg (R2 U2 F R2 F' U2 R' U R'), but you have to start with your thumb on U and that isn't really good for F2L where your thumb will almost never be on U.
